Barnes and Clarke

I decided to mash two photographs together and see what I could come up with.

'Flicks' is slang term for films, or movies. You're the Devil in Disguise is a 1963 single by Elvis Presley.

Here is the chorus:

You look like an angel
Walk like an angel
Talk like an angel
But I got wise
You're the devil in disguise

I mentioned Elvis in the first draft of this story but had to cut him out in the end to keep to my fifty word limit.

There is one more pop culture reference, but I'm going to leave that for you to work out.

This fifty word piece of flash fiction should be read in a thick Lancashire dialect.
