In the Apple documentary Mr. Scorsese, Isabella Rossellini tells a story about her marriage to Martin Scorsese. Walking through Central Park in silence, she eventually asked what he was thinking. He said: What does it mean to be alive? What's our purpose? What's our relationship with God? Then he asked what she was thinking about. She said she was wondering what to have for lunch.
